Children and teens across Las Vegas are navigating profound loss and trauma \u2014 the death of a parent or caregiver, family separation, exposure to violence, abuse or neglect, housing instability, and serious illness \u2014 often without access\r\n to consistent, trauma-informed mental health support. Left unaddressed, these experiences disrupt emotional development, school engagement, and long-term well-being.\r\n
Las Vegas currently lacks a dedicated, clinically grounded healing campus built specifically for children and teens.\r\n
\r\n
Our Solution: Peace Oasis Healing Center, developed in partnership with Better Boys Corporation, will provide a safe, shaded, nature-connected container campus combining trauma-informed clinical counseling, structured healing classes,\r\n youth homeless housing, and restorative mind-body and creative arts programming for children ages 5\u201318.\r\n

Core program components include:\r\n
\u2022 Individual, group, and family counseling using trauma-informed and grief-focused modalities (TF-CBT, play therapy, EMDR)\r\n
\u2022 Mind-body practices including yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation\r\n
\u2022 Creative and expressive therapies: art, music, journaling, and reflective film sessions\r\n
\u2022 Academic and digital support to keep healing from disrupting school progress\r\n
\u2022 Mentorship and family engagement, anchored by Better Boys Corporation’s established trust within the community<\/h3>\r\n
